Who am I?

Hello! I'm Alkis Kastrisios, a dedicated Full-Stack Application Developer & Architect with more than 25 years of experience. Over the years, I've developed a passion for creating and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions.

I started my journey in Sofia, where I earned a Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia. Today, I'm a PhD candidate in Databases at the same university.

What's my work experience?

My work has spanned multiple roles, from Full Stack Instructor at DCI & WBS Coding School to Usability Consultant at Userfeel.com. My entrepreneurial journey includes building startup boutique consulting and internet marketing companies, and providing IT and management support to over 70 companies worldwide.

One of my proudest achievements is the development of a pilot application for IKA, Greece's national insurance company, which successfully identified and evaluated errors and anomalies in medical prescriptions.

I've also worked with various business clients, creating exceptional software from small companies to large enterprises.

My core competencies include Data/Situation Evaluation, Project Management, Application Design & Deployment, Requirements Analysis, QA Testing & Troubleshooting, and Strategic Planning.

I have extensive experience with a wide range of technical skills such as Linux, HP-UX, MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firebase, JavaScript, PHP, MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, Nodejs), Redux, AWS/Heroku and many more.

What's my teaching experience?

As a Senior Full Stack Instructor at DCI & WBS Coding School, I've had the opportunity to mentor and lead almost 200 developers, training professionals on JavaScript, Typescript, MERN stack, Next.Js, Vue, Jest, Cypress, Websockets, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
